This contemporary bottle is inspired by a traditional Korean vessel used to carry water or liquor. It features a flattened, rounded body designed to resemble the shell of a turtle and a short off-center spout.
Originally appearing during theThree Kingdoms period these bottles served both practical and symbolic purposes. Designed for travelers, their flat shape allowed them to be easily attached to a belt or bag with a rope. The turtle is a powerful symbol oflongevity, protection, and resilience in Korean culture. It is one of the ten symbols of longevity (Sipjangsaeng).
